The Church of Christ in DR Congo (Eglise du Christ au Congo, ECC) has been the recipient of generous donations from the Eric Impion Foundation. These donations include wheelchairs and mobility equipment which will be distributed to their hospitals throughout the country. This will significantly improve the quality of life for many individuals who require mobility assistance and will allow them to access medical care more easily.

The Church of Christ has 32 million members across the country and operates hospitals in many of the poorest and most remote areas of the country, so these donations will have a significant impact on the lives of those who are most in need. The donation will also be a great help to the hospitals, who may not have had the budget to purchase this equipment themselves. The Eric Impion Foundation is to be commended for its generosity and commitment to improving healthcare access for all individuals, regardless of their physical abilities.

Archbishop Idore Nyamuke, Vice President of the Church, received a symbolic donation in the presence of some Protestant hospital managers. The donation was made to aid those in need and help support the efforts of the Church and the hospitals. This act of generosity and compassion demonstrates the importance of community and working together to create positive change. The Archbishop graciously accepted the donation on behalf of the Church, expressing gratitude for the support and dedication of those involved. Through acts of kindness and generosity, we can make a difference in the lives of others and contribute to a brighter future for all.

The Red Cross DRC has also received wheelchairs and other equipment to support people with disabilities who need to travel on boats connecting Kinshasa and Brazzaville through Beach Ngobila which is the main entry on the Congo River between both countries. The equipment that had to use was in bad condition, making harder the work of the Red Cross Beach Ngobila. These resources are a significant step towards ensuring that people with disabilities are not excluded from accessing important services. With this donation, the Eric Impion Foundation in partnership with the Church of Christ in Congo (Eglise du Christ au Congo, ECC) supports the commitment of the Red Cross to make a positive impact on the lives of people in DR Congo. It is important to acknowledge the great work that organizations like the Red Cross are doing to support vulnerable communities.
